How much does it cost?

  • Women/Men – 85€
  • Juniors – 70€ (If a junior also competes in the men/women category she/he only has to pay a total of 85€)
  • Every athlete needs to purchase an ATSX license. You can do that in your ATSX profile. Finde more infos under „How can I register?“

We are limited to 120 athletes. First come first serve.

How can I register?

  • Create yourself an ATSX profile in case you do not have one: data.atsx.org/Account/Register.
  • Register for the race: Winterleiten 2023/2024.
  • You will receive an email with the link to our payment site.
  • In addition to our registration fee you need to purchase an ATSX license. You can do this in your ATSX Profile.

Friday, Jan. 19th

16:00 – 18:30 – Registration (bring your jersey and helmet)

17:30 – 18:30 – Open training

18:30 – 18:45 – Briefing Time Trials

19:00 – 21:00 – Time trials

 

Saturday, Jan. 20th

16:00 – 16:30 – Briefing Race

17:45 – 18:00 – Juniors Finals

18:00 – 18:30 – Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)

18:30 – 20:00 – Finals

20:15 – 20:30 – Winners’ Ceremony

21:30 – 05:00 – After Party (@ Schnuggi Bar Judenburg)

Where is the race?

The race is held in Winterleiten, which is a 30 min drive from the town of Judenburg.

Please keep in mind that you may need snow chains to reach the track by car. 

Is it possible to train before the event?

There will be training times prior to the event.

During the race week training will be Monday to Thursday from 17:00-20:00. All trainings need to be booked via www.ice-cross.at.
As soon as the track is ready (approx. new year) we will publish additional training times on www.ice-cross.at/training-winterleiten/.

 

Will there be skate sharpening on site?

We do not offer skate sharpening on site. In case of emergencies we have a skate sharpener on duty in Zeltweg (35 mins from the track).

Contact the organizers to use this service.

Where to stay?

If you want to stay closer to shops and restaurants we recommend to stay around Judenburg (25 min drive, better roads). The other option is Obdach (20 min drive).
Book your own accommodation online on f.ex. booking.com or airbnb.com.

Do I need blade guards?

Yes, please bring your own blade guards.

 

Is there an after party?

Yes. It will be at the Schnuggi Bar in the center of Judenburg. Every rider will get drink cupons in the Welcome bag.

Will there be prize money?

The competition will have no prize money this year.

Will there be changing rooms?

Changing rooms will be provided. Female athletes have a separate changing room.

Where can I park?

Athletes can park on site for free.

How do I get to Winterleiten?

By car:
You can reach the track via Judenburg or Obdach. Snow chains are recommended depending on the weather and road conditions.

By plane:
The closest airport is Graz Thalerhof. Second closest is Vienna International Airport.

By train:
The closest train station is Judenburg, which is reachable by train from both airports. Note that there is no public transport from the train station to the track.

 

Will there be food on site?

On site we will have drinks and sandwiches to purchase. Athletes will get free drink and food vouchers with registration.

Where can I ski?

The closest skiing areas are:

  • Lachtal
  • Riesneralm
  • Obdach
  • Kreischberg

Where is the next cash machine?

The closest cash machines are in Judenburg and Obdach.
